To align national regulatory frameworks with the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence adopted in 2021, and link this to emerging regional frameworks (especially in Europe).
To launch or highlight key initiatives/tools developed by UNESCO in the AI ethics governance space — moving from principles to practice.
The commitments from major industry players pointed to a growing expectation that “ethical AI” is not optional but part of business strategy and legitimacy.
For countries with less advanced AI-governance frameworks, the Forum offered peer-learning and diagnosis tools (e.g., readiness assessments) to help catch up.
The focus on themes like gender equality, inclusion, non-discrimination aligns with your interests (given your work in children’s content and wellness) — governance discussions included questions of vulnerable populations.
