AI for Good Global Summit

The AI for Good Global Summit is the leading action-oriented United Nations platform promoting AI to advance health, climate, gender, inclusive prosperity, sustainable infrastructure, and other global development priorities. AI for Good is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) – the UN specialized agency for information and communication technology – in partnership with 40 UN sister agencies and co-convened with the government of Switzerland.

1. Diverse Program & Activities

  • Two full days of sessions included robotics showcases, AI demonstrations, expert keynotes, and thematic tracks such as health, environment, and inclusive prosperity. 

  • The event also featured pre-summit machine learning (ML) workshops that explored technical and practical aspects of AI. 

2. Innovation Factory & AI Competitions

  • The Innovation Factory pitching sessions spotlighted new AI-enabled solutions aimed at SDG impact. Startups and innovators showcased projects ranging from education to climate tech. 

3. Robotics & Engagement Zones

  • Robotics demos were a distinctive part of the summit, with over 50 robots on display that illustrated how AI and robotics can support education, healthcare, and sustainable infrastructure. 

4. Networking & Community Growth

  • The summit leveraged the AI for Good Neural Network, an online community platform connecting AI experts, innovators, and practitioners worldwide to sustain collaboration beyond the in-person event.
